Where I Linger

Deny my thoughts
I wish I could suppress them—I know I ought
Seek tranquility, I cannot
without a break in peace
Words will run and refuse to leave me at ease
I echo the emotions I imagine once were true
and they turn into inexplicable feelings cancelling reasoning where you
fill up a little too much of my heart
Lingering in the darkness,  sometimes I wonder where it starts…
Deny my love
seems I lost the safety which so easily should surround it
I wish I could tear myself from these dreams
Fly off satisfactorily into a desolate moonbeam
to that night time friend who so comprehends my displacency…
