Hour

The hour’s not easy,
She’s unsettled, unsteady,
And you turn off your tears so the world won’t see,
You turn to your fears and you’re begging them please

Show me that window,
On the other side of darkness,
Show me the moments we used to share,
Before you decided so much was unfair

This hour’s not enough,
But you exist without the sun, not within,
Measuring your steps by tomorrow’s skin,
You forget that now is all you have

The hour grows late,
The smiles they tremble, the hopes they break,
While somewhere someone’s breaking trust,
All we should know is love…

The hour’s not easy,
She’s settled, unsteady,
But the stars still shine and we surrender to believe,
Oceans away and still souls merge together to see

This hour is only what you make it…
